Cetechs, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), is looking for a Hematology-Oncologist to join our team of medical specialist in multiple locations across the United States.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education: Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
- Experience: 2 years
- Licensure/Certifications: full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory
- Must be a US Citizen;
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage complex medical hematology and medical oncology care for Veterans.
- Provide patient screening and management of hematologic/oncologic diseases per National and VA guidelines.
- Maintain the timely entry and use of the electronic medical record system for workload capture, and for review of current and future medical care needs.
- Provide for education and supervision of trainees/Fellows.
- Work in collaboration with other Interdisciplinary team members to ensure the safety and quality of Veteran care.
- Responsible for all performance metrics related to quality of patient care.
- Demonstrate positive customer service and respect in all aspects of patient care.
- Collaborate with other providers and participate in quality improvement, quality assurance, continuous survey readiness, and work groups.
- Maintain licensures and certifications requisite for credentials and privileges
- Demonstrate ethical and professional behavioral standards per Medical Staff Bylaws.
- Ensure that work relationships are compliant with written and stated professional VA policies.
- Demonstrate willingness to participate in an independent research program according to the needs of the Service Line.
- Demonstrate initiative to gain a University Faculty appointment if teaching of Fellows requires such.
- Foster courteous and respectful treatment of patients of varied cultures, backgrounds, ages and customs.
